Upcycling workshop: "Out is the new In"

Goals

The main objective of this workshop is to combine environmental awareness with the development of skills such as creativity and manual arts. In the context of environmental awareness, there will be a focus on the 5 R's rule (Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Compost), in explaining its importance and ways of application. In order to put the lessons learned into practice, a necklace will be made out of CD packaging, old clothes and cardboard.

Recipients

Participation in the workshop is open to the general public. No prior knowledge is required to participate in the workshop. However, it is suggested that the participants are aged over 18 years. The number of participants is limited, and online registration is therefore mandatory, through the link provided for this purpose.

Trainer:

Entrepreneurial, daydreamer and positive incurable, Mariana Costa has a degree in management, specializing in entrepreneurship and innovation and a master in management and business strategy. She has long professional experience in the commercial area and as a project manager financed by Portugal 2020. For her passion for communication, she has a creative writing blog where she publishes some texts of her own (Circumstance Reports). She is a vegetarian, passionate about animals, nature and dreams of creating a better, greener and fairer world. She is a certified trainer and trainer.
